The biggest and most beautiful Hybridizing Garden of Daylilies (Hemerocallis) of East and North Europe is located in the western part of Latvia at Lauciene Community of Talsi District at the highway Talsi – Jurmala.
During the massive blooming period in July and August round 1000 species and hybrids can be seen here. When visiting the Garden, guests can choose and secure blooms in accordance with her/his taste. Photos diaply a little portion of the planlet offer, covering more than 1000 species.
Three, six or even nine diferent home-brew wine sorts are served for wine admirers. Natural home wines were brewed of fruit, berries and blossoms grown in the neighbourhood of Talsi. While wine is tasted, in-depth info is provided on wines and consultation to vintagers.
Wine tasting is round the year and tasting visits should be reported and arranged beforehand. |
