Mentzendorff's House. City-Dwellers' House-Museum

[pic][men.jpg]One of Riga's newest museums, Mentzendorff House opened in 1992. The museum provides an insight into the everyday life of a wealthy Riga citizen in the 17th and 18th centuries. The museum abounds in unique interiors, including wall and ceiling paintings typical of the period. There is a schedule of temporary exhibitions, and it is possible to hire rooms for official functions and private parties.
