Ojars Vacietis Memorial Museum

[pic][vac.jpg]The flat where the poet Ojars Vacietis (1933-1983) lived was opened as a memorial museum in 1992. Surrounded by his personal belongings such as his beret, sunglasses, globe, manuscripts and drawings, the visitor can gain an insight into the poet's character and personality. The collection contains 17 000 items.
