The highest ditrition of Devon period rocks in the republic (heigth 43 m, length ~ 500 m). The rocks are being remade by landslides and rivrer-bed side-erosion. In the middle part of the rocks, at the water, there is 19 m long cave. 100 m donwards, there is another, but inaccessible 10 m long cave. Along Ķūķu rocks, waters are hurtling over Ķūķu krāces (rapids), well known by watertourists, but from the rocks greets one of the most beautiful scapes in Latvia. |
